The Trump Presidency
Thu Nov 10, 2016 1:29 pm by Bandit
Winning the election is one thing. What needs to done is quite another. Or in our current situation, a few "others".

The fact both houses of Congress are now run by republicans works against Trump. They simply hate him. He will never get any of his agenda past either house, if it does not go along with their own.

His staff and Cabinet, present another major hurdle. He knows none of the players …

Well it has been almost three months and what have we learned. Massive leaks in the CIA NSA Hillary sells Uranium to the Russians. Trump Tower wiretapped. CIA NSA at war with each other. Now Obama colluding with terrorist before the election.
I am afraid this is just the tip of the iceberg.

Hate crimes
Wed Aug 31, 2016 6:04 pm by Skycastle
I oppose the idea of hate crimes. As a general rule, I don't believe it's necessary or helpful to try to determine someone's thoughts and motives, except as they relate to the crime being accidental vs. intentional.
IMO, the hate (motive) part is irrelevant - it's the crime itself that needs to be punished. People should be punished for their actions - not their thoughts. Otherwise we're heading …

What does the gay ruling mean?
Fri Jun 26, 2015 11:53 am by Pissedoffvulcan
So now that the supreme court has ruled. Does that mean business can now ask you if you believe in gay marriage? Does that mean if you say you are against on religious grounds they can fire you? Does that mean priest will now be forced to marry people?
