That thing about the pets from the pound reminds me of my state. If you adopt a pet from a shelter here you have to have to pay to have it fixed before you get it. All that does it make fewer animals get adopted. Instead of being free it now costs between $50-$200 bucks. And if you don't want your animal fixed, that's to bad. Now nobody adopts the older animals because of this. For that much money you might as go buy a pure bred puppy. Or like me, find free animals from other places besides the pound. Doesn't make sense to make animals less adoptable from pounds. They might as well just destroy them right when they come in the door.
