She's Baaaaaackkkkk!!!!!!!! She finally made some posts today.

Well it was Pscard who complained. I suspected him because I've seen him complain about a lot of other things over there starting about the same times as the issue arose with my avatar. He sent me a PM today asking me to change it to something "not offensive". I guess I'll have to see if he gets me banned now.

I am going to ask him what the problem is. Post the link for your post. Is he referring to your personal photo or the avatar.

Ah,the king of the one word posts. I sure hope it makes him feel good to get you to have to remove it. If you have nothing meaningful to say, complain about something that nobody gives a rat's rear about. I find his attitude more offensive than the avatar.
In other news I can very rarely find anything to post on SYFY's forums anymore,since most of the shows that I liked are no longer on. I do post in the short fiction or general forums a bit. Ever since the last forum upgrade I see a lot of folks I used to know haven't come back. The Firefly,Dresden Files and Farscape forums are dead.

I sent pscard a PM asking him why. As of yet no answer.

Well, he didn't reply to my PM either. But I also haven't received contact from the admin. So hopefully he is just going to let it go.

Syfy's new forum layout

Man it sucks. The way it was yesterday I liked, I think that was the way it was back before the last time they changed it. Now it is really horrible. It's hard to find anything or even tell if there are new posts on a topic. Plus I can't open any topics, I clicked on Pscards topic about the change and it took literally three minutes for it to open.

Someone must of looked at our site and decided they needed an upgrade. But man is that ugly. Who the hell designed that? Your right. It is slow as hell oh well more traffic for me.

Did you notice at the bottom they have a box like we do to post replies? They totally copied us. LMAO but man it is hard to see things and it looks like it has been designed by a girl notice all the pink?

They also put when you edit just like here lol.

Has anyone looked at the Picture of the day thread latley?

I was just looking at it and I see nothing wrong with what is wrong. Ya I seen a few pictures of some scifi chicks big deal. Then MBG wants to shut it down. Makes no sense why not just delete those pictures? Man this girl is on one major power trip over a friggin forum.

EDIT: Pscard made a complaint about a non graphic pic from a porn movie. I didn't even catch the problem since the pic itself is perfectly fine. The only way you'd know is apparently if you're familiar with the movie and know it's porn.

I objected as well, although I did not suggest deletion, preferring instead that the participants behave themselves.

CT was putting up pics that were basically just girlie pics, with little or no connections to Science Fiction films/books, and that's not what the thread was supposed to be about.

What did he put up? I recall some pic of Paris Hilton from "House of Wax" that seemed to start the troubles.

Ok, I went back to look. Page 48 he posted a pic of Conan, Terminator Salvation,Terminator Rise of Machines, and Dusk Til Dawn. Page 49: Smallville, Alien, Dr. No, Die Another Day, .....

And I found what caused the uproar, he posted a pic of some porn chick from a movie called "Forbidden Tales". All of the other pics he posted of girls were from scifi or horror films, so I'm guessing this is what started the problem. First time I saw Pscard make a complaint there as well. Now I'll just find out what this "film" actually is.

Apparently, from what I read, this is just a porn movie with a slight scifi twist to it. Kind of like that porn that was a twist of pirates everybody was talking about a couple of years ago. So yeah, this movie really doesn't qualify to the thread.

CT seems to like the lady pics, but still they all, with the porn exception, are from legitimate movies. My guess is it's the complaints from the porn movie pic, which was less revealing than any other, combined with him purposely posting underwear shots after that to thumb his nose that caused the uproar. MBG should probably just deleted the porn movie pic and warned him.

Still I think the whole thing got blown out of proportion, especially with her threatening to close the thread. That said, I do hereby recall my comments now that I see Pscard did have a reason to complain initially.

Why is SyFy Forums fading?

I was just wondering you know a year ago you would see 200 people on the forums at sci fi now you are lucky to see 10.  I am thinking they have irritated so many people with that no one goes to syfy forums anymore. I have my ideas as to why but I want your ideas as well.

Yeah I think a lot of it is because of the unnecessary censoring and the like. Also since the quality and quantity of good shows on the channel has sharply decreased, they have probably lost a lot of viewers that would otherwise be coming to the site.

I believe that is part of it but I still think there is more. I want some more opinions.

Ok I think they are fading because a lot of conservatives are just turned off by the long arm of the law there. People have been complaining about MBG for a long time yet Admin 1 refuses to do anything about it. The basement used to be one of the best places to go until they let MBG be a Mod.

But all the blame cannot be put on her. I think the ads have a lot to do with it and people are just getting tired of it. What can advertising do if no one is going to go there and look at it. Man not only has Syfy screwed up Sci Fi Channel they have totally screwed the forums. I am just about done with those forums until SGU comes back on. Plus maybe people are migrating to syfywire. But I hear they are just as bad.
