Does gays have more rights in certian states.

So was thinking yesterday on the way home from work. Do gays have more rights certain states where gay marriage is legal? Let's say you have 2 gays in prison and they decide to get married. Do they get to share the same jail cell?

If it is allowed for them then shouldn't it be allowed for heterosexual couples? Just saying.

They have more rights in ALL states thanks to hate crime laws. If you assault a straight white man, you get charged with assault. If you assault a gay man you charged with a hate crime and face a much harder penalty.

This applies to any of the ever-expanding list of "protected" classes.

Basically it applies to everyone except straight white males. All non white races are considered minorities, all women are considered minorities, as are gays, who does that leave? Straight white males, the only true minority.

Yeah - to label certain crimes as hate crimes is moronic and unjust.

Well the hate crimes is a bogus bill. Everyone should get equal protection under the law. Guess we forgot that one.
