The current offerings by the Republicans on a national level are mostly Centrist, and we here are indeed right/conservative leaning, but not extremist. Everything is in comparison to something else.

Now what I would like to know is how is spending more then all presidents combined is fixing what Bush has done is fixing anything. Our how ignoring our borders just like Bush is fixing anything. Oh! One question why would I want everyone killed who is not American. Because that means I should have wanted my Ecuadorian wife killed before she became a proud American. Where do you guys come up with these nutty statements!

I don't want non Americans killed. I would like it if we cut off all welfare to other countries though. If we did that and kept all other spending the same, we'd just about balance our yearly budget. And we haven't had a single year with a balanced budget since the 1700's.

Hmmm how do I answer what Bob (IF that is really your name) has accused here. Well, like another earlier post, my ITALIAN (BORN IN VENICE) wife and I would not be here as she would be killed, right? Sure, Obama is really a citizen, natural born and all that, however, he continues to be like every other politician we EVER had when he denies his ACTUAL past (sure, attended that church for what 20 YEARS and had no idea of the hatred he spouted?).

Now, concerning the 'Universal Healthcare'- it doesn't affect me personally as I am Disabled so I am covered, but my WIFE, on the otehrhand is not. This economy has left her working 2.5 days a week and no coverage to speak of. So it SHOULD help HER situation, right, WRONG! We can't AFFORD this new proposal in the least, and what IS out there for her will likely disappear at the beginning of next year! But she voted for he AND Nancy 'We'll know what is in the bill when we pass it' Pelosi.

As to Bush Jr., his only fault was he bowed too much to the Democrats on issues that ultimately hurt him and America (he wanted the Sallie Mae program audited but was 'shot down' by the Democrats on that board. We know what THAT lead to, don't we? But that was the 'worst' of it) He also allowed his VP to run those games in the dark that also hurt our standing internationally, but what are you gonna do about that.

Now, I would actually respect Obama more if he would stand up to his own party once in awhile and DO what he SAID he was gonna do when he took office (Gitmo still open?) or remember why he GOT that 'NOBEL PEACE AWARD' and STOP sending more troops to Afghanistan or sending more Predator missiles to KILL more people! I would respect him more if he did that, wouldn't LIKE him more, but at least I would know he was a man of his word!

What else? Oh, at least Bush KNEW how many states there are IN AMERICA (Not 57 as Obama said on the campaign trail) and he and Kerry both released their school RECORDS! Oh, wait, ALL the past presidents did, what is Obama hiding anyway?

Nope, I don't trust him, not in the least, and every day he does something, it just underlines why I don't trust him (i.e his largest contributor, BP was given a walk on being responsible for the oil spill, and he NEVER visited or acknowledged the flooding in the Mid-west (imagine if Bush had done that? There would have been calls for IMPEACHMENT!
