| I think the point was to compare his stupid comments with the good ones.
It still bugs me how many people say Obama is "great" speaker. Good grief, content aside he's only a mediocre speaker at best. And he can only do that if there's no problem with his teleprompter. Love him or hate him, the only "great" speaker since probably Kennedy was Reagan.

| I have to agree Obama is not that good of a speaker. What makes me mad is the republicans that say he is. When if fact he is one of the worst speakers in presidential history. This president is a train wreck waiting to happen. | |

| What gets me most is my wife and her mom (BOTH Democrats and lovers of Obama) just rave about how great a speaker his is...then they qualify it by saying he is a better speaker than Bush was anyway. So which is it? Is he a great speaker or is he 'just' better than Bush? One automatically covers the other without needing to qualify it, so if on'e feels the need to qualify it, all it really says is they KNOW he isn't that good a speaker! | |

Kind of reminds me of one of the SG1 seasons. Whoever did the closed captioning for three or four episodes was really clueless. The officers would address the peons at the base as "Airman", since of course they are Airforce. Well the person who did the closed captioning wrote "Aaron" each time. :geek: Must be really confusing to them why there is like ten different people all working at one based named Aaron.

| I forgot. To republicans it's only a good speech if you say how American is perfect in every way and talk about all the countries you're going to bomb and invade.

| It has little to do with content. A good speech is one that is delivered in a fashion that shows you have intelligence and know what you're talking about. Think about it like what grade you'd get in speech class.
Obama has no idea what he's talking about, all he does is read what the teleprompter tells him to say. And he even screws that up on a regular basis. Except of course when he veers off the teleprompter and makes up out right lies.
Obama (F) is a horrible speech giver. Bush Jr(D) was barely better. Bush Sr(C) was a mediocre speaker at best. Clinton (B) was a good speaker, not because of content but because he knew how to give a speech. His speeches were all boring, unremarkable and quickly forgotten, but they were technically proficient. Reagan (A) was a Fabulous speaker. Not only did he know how to give a speech, he knew how to make it memorable and inspiring. Same with JFK.
