Sorry but a ship does not survive a torpedo hit.

So the last episode the ship took a torpedo to the hull. BS. Torpedo's are designed to detonate under the hull and create a cavity breaking the ship in two. It would have never survived and if it blew up that close to the ship it still would have created a cavity and the ship would have either capsized or come close to it.

They set the tone with this series in the series opener, when a missile slams into the radar/bridge section of the ship, and merely blackens the paint.

Ya I am resolved myself to it is to costly to cause real damage to the ship.
