"Charlie calls Sam and Dean to tell them she found the Book of the Damned which could help remove the Mark of Cain. The Winchesters race to her after she tells them she’s been shot by a man named Jacob Styne who says the book belongs to his family and he won’t rest until he gets it back. Castiel and Metatron take a road trip to find Castiel’s grace but they hit a couple road bumps along the way."
Charlie finds an evil book of spells that she thinks can get the mark of Cain off of Dean. But she has some psycho family after her for it. Sam and Dean come to the rescue of course. Dean tells Sam the book is to evil to use and tells him to burn it. During the fight Sam chucks some other book into the fire and pretends he did as Dean. Later, Sam meets with Crowleys mother and makes a deal for her to use the book to free Dean in exchange for Sam killing her son.
Meanwhile, Castiel and Metatron go looking for Castiels grace where it was hidden in a library. Case finds his grace, but not before Metatron tricks him and takes off with the demon tablet which was also hidden there.
