Pure incompetence. Some no nothing peon aide was tasked with making graphics and they grabbed the first picture Google churned out. This is no different than the news channel that displayed a Star Trek uniform badge as being from the Seal team that supposedly killed Bin Laden. That's our society today , whatever they find on the internet must be correct.
