Listening to the radio today and Rand Paul endorsed Mitt Romney. Now the Paul bots are calling Rand a bunch of disgusting names acting like the Occupy Wall Street crowd.

This video makes it clear that this "endorsement" was purely political, so that Rand would have a chance of being the Republican nominee in 2016.

I've decided not to let you get away with calling Paul supporters "bots," because we're not the bots. We're the opposite of bots. The bots are the sad people who are unable to think outside the two-party system; they are captives of false thinking and their inability to learn from history. They think that forever voting for the "lesser of two evils" (even when there's barely a difference) will miraculously, somehow bring us "good" and that it is the way to save America, when in fact it will be the death of America. We Paul supporters, on the other hand, are the free-thinkers of the political world.
We have the ability to see outside the box - to see that the two-party system is not the way to freedom - it is the way to the death of freedom. Look at Romney - a supporter of gun control and big-government, NDAA and CISPA - a diseased insider if there ever was one. THIS pile of rat droppings is now the "Republican" candidate who will oppose Obama and bring hope to America. What a load of horse crap! He IS Obama! Romney will continue the death of America, and I feel sorry for anyone who really can't see that.
I realize and I hope other Paul supporters realize that Rand made this ludicrous endorsement not because he believes in Romney's principles or ability to be a good president, but because he needed to do this in order to have a chance to be the Republican candidate in 2016. It's pure politics!
And it illustrates the diseased hold which the two-party system has on Americans. It has become obvious to me that we shouldn't have any parties at all, because Americans are not able to intellectually handle it. They have become captive to the elite's trickery in presenting to us the false idea that we actually have a choice here. It's a false dichotomy - an illusion designed to lull the sheeple into voting for their own enslavement. Whichever party they vote for - they lose. What a perfect deception.
Of course, I understand that Rand isn't endorsing Romney in principle, and I won't make the mistake of voting for that traitor. And so I'm writing in Ron Paul on the ballot, even if the clueless sheeple of America won't.

Exactly! With the crap coming from some of those nut cases they are never going to get Americans to embrace the libertarian point of view with the rational libertarians. I know these guys have to convince themselves of the craziness that Obama and Romney are the same. But that is just plain silly. No where near what I wanted but not obama by any stretch. We are changing the system and congress through the Tea Party and that change will continue if the people see steady positive changes from the Tea Party. Right now we can change congress and then the presidents office with the approach we are currently using. Maybe libertarians should take note of that. Right now Romney is all we have and we desperately need to keep a more Conservative supreme court while the Tea Party does it transformation.
And I dont know how the die hard Ron Paul people could still support him. They can deny it from here to eternity but Rand would have never done this without Rons approval.

Were you one of the ones that called Rand Names? If no then you are not a Ron Paul Bot.
I agree with a lot of what Ron Paul says. However Ron Paul is not the end all be all. I have problems with every candidate. I have problems with Romney. But to put up with 4 more years of Obama and we will become the USSR.
As in every case it is up to the American people to keep Romney from doing stupid stuff. You cannot fall asleep even if Ron Paul won the nomination.

One other thing I wanted to respond to is this. The 2 party system. While I will agree there should be no parties fact of the matter is there will be.
What I don't want is a european style political system where you have many parties then have to build a colition to govern. No our two party system is far better then the euro one. We just have to change the republican pary within like True Liberty said.

Ain't gonna happen until we stop voting for the big-government NWO clones like Romney and Obama. As long as the sheeple keep falling for that old DemoPublican trick, we'll be forever enslaved. And the sheeple are showing no signs of waking up as they mindlessly jump en-mass onto the Romney moped of death. They really do deserve what they're gonna get. I'm just sad that the rest of us will be here when the country dies.
After listening closely to the video, I see that Rand Paul isn't a traitor to the freedom cause. He's simply in a no-win situation. To have any chance of getting pro-freedom legislation passed in congress he needs the support of other Republicans. And if he didn't support the party by supporting the rat Romney, he wouldn't have that needed support.
The problem here is the diseased hold which the two-party system has on America - the DemoPublican strangle hold. That isn't Rand's fault - it's the fault of the brain-dead American people who keep supporting this sickness. But freedom supporters who can see through the "endorsement" to the reason behind it, know that they don't have to vote for Romney in the election. And so I'll be writing in Ron Paul, because he's the choice for life for America. I'm done voting for death.

I respect your decision. But you know well and good he is not going to win. That kind of vote has the feel of giving up. I might even do the same if we didnt have a Tea Party and if that Tea Party was making no progress. But its far from the case. And hopefully the supreme court decisions coming out on obama care and immigration will come out with positives to push our agenda further. You cant just tell the people there stupid for voting your standard republican. You gotta show them there is a reason to change there thinking. Rand understands this and is going to be much better at it then Ron ever was.

Thanks. You're probably right in that Ron can't win, but when people have only one chance for life - they take it - even if they will probably lose. It's like the "Hail Mary pass" in football, and it's nothing like giving up. I've been in this game a long time. Since I turned 18 I began voting Republican. And year after year, even when Republicans were in power, our government kept moving away from Constitutional rule and toward tyranny. Our rights are continuing to be shredded by both Republicans and Democrats, decade after decade, and that's never going to change. Why? Because the backers of the DemoPublican Party have far more money and power than we do, and they always will. They're the NWO elite, the Establishment, the Bilderbergers, CFR, and they control both parties, which are actually one party. Both Obama and Romney are their men. And therein lies the deadly catch - either way we lose. Again, and again, and again, we keep voting death for America.
It took me a looong time to wake up and understand the no-win situation we're in, and that's when I STOPPED playing their terminal game. That was 5-10 years ago. Remember the movie "Wargames"? In the end, the only way to win was not to play. That's also our situation - we have to STOP playing their no-win game by NOT voting for the rotten DemoPublican candidates. And if enough people would do this then the general population could begin to catch on and join us in the revolution. But as long as we keep playing the DemoPublican death game, our nation will continue dying. And we're almost at the end. Did you read my in-depth discussion with POV about the Democrat Jet of Death vs the Republican Moped of Death (and the Ron Paul Lifeboat)? It's all there; the uselessness of any race which will eventually kill you. Voting either Republican or Democrat is a vote for death; the only difference is the speed at which each party will bring death. But the outcome is guaranteed. Voting for the lesser of two evils, even if you always win, will eventually kill you, as it is killing America. The only way to win is to change course and vote for life. But so few people are doing that that we have no real chance of ever winning.
I'm a realist here, and I think it's too late for any serious change in government. Ron Paul was it, and it's pretty much over. Me and Eber have expended much time and effort trying to convince people who love freedom, especially you and POV, to abandon the Moped of Death, and we've failed. If we can't make you understand, then what chance do most Americans - who never even had this conversation - have? None. And so our chance has passed. Chances eventually end you get what you've chosen. America will die, with either Obama or Romney at the helm. And when freedom is dead and your children are finally enslaved, you can tell them that you voted for the presidents who killed us. Won't that be fun?
Me and Eber, on the other hand, will be able to say that we voted for life, but lost because we were out-voted by a population so apathetic and ignorant of the basic principles of freedom that they didn't know up from down. Ignorance isn't always bliss - sometimes it kills you.
McCain was a big-government-loving monster, but most Republicans voted for him. That says it all. If you'd like too know more about how rotten Bush was, read the book titled "A Nation of Sheep" by Judge Andrew Napolitano. I'll even send you a copy if you can't afford it. Let me know.

That is where the tea party comes in. The tea party has been getting small government minded people elected and throwing out the old RINOs.

Yeah, the Tea Party tried, but we weren't strong enough to beat the money machine of the elite. Romney had the most money, so he won. And so it will always be, until people wake up and stop voting for the big-government-loving, NWO controlled DemoPublicans.

It will not happen overnight. It took how many years of fighting to earn our independence? This is a process it will take time it is not like goint to McDonalds and ordering a Cheese Burger.

Yeah, but we're out of time. We've been voting for DemoPublican death for so long that we're almost there, and the people still haven't learned from their mistakes. They're still voting for the Democrat Jet of Death and the Republican Moped of Death, so death they will get. Ron Paul was our last chance for life, and Americans threw it away. So be it. Republics have limited lives, as Alexander Tyler pointed out in his Cycle of Nations, and ours is nearly at its end. Romney is a man who loves power and has no respect for individual liberty, and he is death for America.
