| Okay one more gift. Since we watch a ton of movies usually on Sundays. She got this really cool popcorn machine. And I can tell you it makes popcorn just like the theatres sell. Also we live right across the street from the mall with a great theatre so we can make the popcorn just before we go. Put it in my backpack and we save some money at the movies. | |

| So how was everyones Valentines Day. Spent mine not only with my lovely wife but also with my  mother at Bonefish. You could not have asked for a nicer day to eat outside. This place had one of the best steaks ive ever had before. And I have had a lot of steaks in my time. | |

| Despite our household's dire lack of finances, I had a dozen roses + vase delievered to my wife. Though we could scarce afford it, she deserved it. THAT is what Valentine's Day SHOULD be about, showing Love when it doesn't make financial sense! | |

| I spent it the same way I spend every holiday, and every day for that matter. I sat home alone with just my cat and ate frozen generic food from "Save A Lot", the cheapest food store in my town. | |

| Well, Thank you very much for your kindness in creating this area, upon my request. I'd like to dedicate my first thread here to the day, and even more important, the people in which this day was dedicated. Memorial Day, In honored memory of those who gave everything they had, as well sacrificed their future and the future of those offspring they would have brought into this world, so that we can have the world we live in today. There is no better words than the ones that a calibrated President once spoke over the dedication of a plot of land in memory of these same honored few.
The Gettysburg Address Gettysburg, Pennsylvania November 19, 1863
On June 1, 1865, Senator Charles Sumner commented on what is now considered the most famous speech by President Abraham Lincoln. In his eulogy on the slain president, he called it a "monumental act." He said Lincoln was mistaken that "the world will little note, nor long remember what we say here." Rather, the Bostonian remarked,
"The world noted at once what he said, and will never cease to remember it."
Four score and seven years ago our fathers brought forth on this continent, a new nation, conceived in Liberty, and dedicated to the proposition that all men are created equal.
Now we are engaged in a great civil war, testing whether that nation, or any nation so conceived and so dedicated, can long endure. We are met on a great battle-field of that war. We have come to dedicate a portion of that field, as a final resting place for those who here gave their lives that that nation might live. It is altogether fitting and proper that we should do this.
But, in a larger sense, we can not dedicate -- we can not consecrate -- we can not hallow -- this ground. The brave men, living and dead, who struggled here, have consecrated it, far above our poor power to add or detract. The world will little note, nor long remember what we say here, but it can never forget what they did here. It is for us the living, rather, to be dedicated here to the unfinished work which they who fought here have thus far so nobly advanced. It is rather for us to be here dedicated to the great task remaining before us -- that from these honored dead we take increased devotion to that cause for which they gave the last full measure of devotion -- that we here highly resolve that these dead shall not have died in vain -- that this nation, under God, shall have a new birth of freedom -- and that government of the people, by the people, for the people, shall not perish from the earth.
Just as they, so very long ago, fought beside eachother to give us this gift of freedom, We as the thankful few how have respected that sacrifice need to continue that fight, and carry on that fight to preserve that treasured gift of freedom against all enemies, foreign and domestic, wither they set at the highest office in the land or the lowest level of existance. LET FREEDOM RING! | |

| Yes, those who died fighting for our freedom are worthy of memory, and there but for the grace of God, go I. As a veteran, I feel a bond with others who served and died, even though I never paid that price.
