| I did say it's not perfect but a step in the right direction. What should have happened was going to a single payer system. There should be no such thing as for profit health care. | |

There's no logical reason that your premiums should be going up. Insurance companies are required to spend 85% of premiums on actual care. They have actually been sending out refund checks because of this. So let's look at the profits of these companies and see if they've dramatically decreased. If they have not then the problem isn't the Affordable Care Act, it's corporate greed.

So you support monopolies? Whats next single payer oil companies? Single payer grocery stores? When does it stop?

| If you have insurance you can keep it. The biggest lie that has ever been told by any president in the history of the United States.
The nation's largest health insurer, UnitedHealth Group Inc., is leaving California's individual health insurance market, the second major company to exit in advance of major changes under the Affordable Care Act.
UnitedHealth said it had notified state regulators that it would leave the state's individual market at year-end and force about 8,000 customers to find new coverage. Last month, Aetna Inc., the nation's third-largest health insurer, made a similar move affecting about 50,000 existing policyholders.
Both companies will keep a major presence in California, focusing instead on large and small employers.

| Dims keeping trying to convince themselves that we have turned the corner on Obamacare. In a recent New York Times column Paul Krugman wrote - Holy seven million, Batman! The Affordable Care Act, a k a Obamacare, has made a stunning comeback from its shambolic start. wrote:
I have to believe this is wishful thinking delusion. If Obamacare is so good then why does the President keep delaying or cancelling huge sections of it. A recent AP poll put support for Obamacare at only 26%; that means that even some on the left are jumping ship on this issue. I'm sorry, Paul Krugman, but it hasn't made a stunning comeback if support is only at 26%.

Neal Covuto did a piece on this and he said anyone can find what the numbers are. 35 percent of the 7 million that signed up have dropped obamacare. Only 14 percent are new people to insurance. The rest had insurance but had to give it up. 70 percent have pre existing conditions. This is a failure all the way around.

Also, don't forget that less than 50% of the people signed up for Obama care are paying their premiums.

| More problems with Obamacare website. Another federal government-run website created under ObamaCare is suffering the same symptoms as the troubled federal health care exchange -- grappling with delays, data problems and other hiccups as the deadline to take it public nears.
At issue is a database known as the Open Payments website. It was created under the Affordable Care Act to shed light on the financial ties between doctors and pharmaceutical companies as well as device manufacturers.
The transparency initiative is supposed to include detailed information about drug payments made by doctors as well as the value of gifts and services given by drug makers. Such items can include everything from meals to swanky retreats.
