NEW YORK -- Deliberations at the first civilian trial of a Guantanamo detainee hit a snag on Monday when a juror told the judge she felt threatened by other jurors and asked him to be removed from the panel. The note raised the specter of a hung jury because the juror said she was at odds with the rest of the anonymous panel as they try to settle on a verdict on terror charges against Ahmed Ghailani in federal court in Manhattan.

They said this could happen and under a military tribunal this would never happen way to go Obama you loser.

'We' civilians are NOT raised to SEE terrorists for who they are, I reckon.

The whole thing is bull anyway. Unless the guy is a citizen, which I don't believe any of the detainees are, or was arrested in the US while here legally, which I doubt many if any were, then he has no rights in a civilian court and the court has no right to try him. These people, with the possible exceptions I've noted, have no rights to anything other than a military trial.

He committed a bunch of violence and murders overseas where the US courts have no jurisdiction. They have no right to even try the guy, period. The most they can do is allow the military to do it, since they do have the right, or send him to be tried in the country or countries were he actually committed the crimes. This whole thing is bull.
