Ron Paul's farewell speech Empty
PostSubject: Ron Paul's farewell speech   Ron Paul's farewell speech EmptySun Dec 02, 2012 7:42 pm

I lay the blame for Obama's re-election and the coming federal tyranny (which is now unstoppable) on both the Republicans and Democrats.

First, the Republicans for rejecting the U.S. Constitution and the liberty which comes with it, by choosing a Constitutional imbecile like Romney as their candidate. Romney had no intention of returning our nation to constitutional government, and he did worse than Ron Paul in the pre-election polls comparing various candidates chances against Obama. Here were the results
:

Daily Presidential Tracking Poll - Rasmussen Reports
Texas Congressman Ron Paul leads the president 43% to 41%

Paul v. Obama:_______Paul 43%______Obama 41%

Romney v. Obama:____Romney 44%___Obama 44%

Santorum v. Obama:___Santorum 43%__Obama 46%

“Congressman Paul consistently keeps Obama at a lower percentage than all of the other candidates.”

So Republicans not only chose a candidate with no respect for the U.S. Constitution and limited federal power, they also chose a candidate with less chance of beating Obama than Ron Paul - and they LOST the election! Serves them right. Since Republicans no longer respect the Constitution, they deserve the coming tyranny.

Second, the Democrats, who are worse in most ways and deserve the lion's share of blame for this terminal disaster for our nation.

Anyway, here is the farewell speech of one of the greatest congressmen we've had in the last hundred years. He was a true statesman and patriot, who had more wisdom and understanding than the rest of congress combined (excepting a few members such as Rand Paul). America - you've chosen bondage over liberty and you don't deserve him!

They couldn't pick Ron Paul. Ron actually stands for the ideals of the Republic, the Republicans don't. They didn't want him getting rid of the fed reserve, limiting their ability to start unconstitutional wars, or restoring any Constitutional rules anymore than the Democrats did. They wanted him in power so little that they cheated him out of votes in the caucuses and rigged the whole nomination while making him look stupid in MSM. They feared him so much that they'd rather keep Obabma in power then let him win.

You're right - Republicans only pretend to honor the Constitution and freedom. In reality they love big government and the control that comes with it. And it was disgusting the way the cheated him in the caucuses and at the convention - they're as lawless and corrupt as the Democrats. So now we have a beastman of Satan ruling us, and we deserve no better.

I miss the ideal... I was convinced for a few solid weeks last year that he would have, should have, been in the running. I sincerely imagined he would go all the way.

If Americans had any brains or integrity, he would have won. But too many prefer smooth-talking liars and "redistributors of wealth" (thieves) who will take care of all their needs in life. What idiocy.
