"A Thomas Jefferson encounter is a highlight during Ichabod and Abbie's quest to fight evil; Jenny learns a secret about Frank."
This was a really weird episode. A secret chamber containing a magical interactive Jefferson hologram and all kinds of knowledge on how to stop the Apocalypse... and they just blow it up? All because there were cannibal Reavers... firefly anybody?... down there. These creatures died just as easily as any person would, and they had no weapons beyond their own body. Yet instead of just shooting them all and using the resources of the chamber they blow it all up to kill the Reavers. And all this started from the idea that this little historical town was going to destroy historical Revolutionary era tunnels to build underground parking... Everything from the premise of how the chamber was discovered to why they had to destroy it was just horribly sloppy writing. Hope next week is better.
Oh, the whole scene with Henry stalking his Mom in her dreams was really weird. Have to wonder what he wants her blood for. And we find out that Irving is a corrupted soul under Henry's power after all. Of course for this one episode he was himself but warns Jenny it won't last long and then he'll be back to pure evil. More sloppy writing.
