This Sunday night is a rare treat space geeks. It's a lunar eclipse involving a super blood wolf moon!
I know. Nice Bandit, but WTF is that? I'll break it down for you.
Super moon: when the moon is closest to earth while orbiting it. Blood moon: happens when the earth gets between the sun and moon causing earths shadow to cover the moon, thus making it look red. (Eclipse) Wolf Moon: Native Americans called the full moon in Jan the wolfs moon.

I watched it for a bit, but because the temps were in the teens, and the moon was at a 90 degree angle, it was too difficult to watch long. You had to go outside, look straight up, then brave the temp for an hour and a half. No thanks. I'm retired and do not do that nonsense anymore.
