If you really wish to know, I'll answer you in the TOS forum. As far as this show, and the mention of the Enterprise, I'll ask you to look at this trailer:
10 years BEFORE Spock and the Enterprise huh? Yeah, whatever.
Exactly because they mentioned the Enterprise in the last episode. So the trailer is misleading.

Not if they kill off number one. Remember no one knows what happened to her.
That's true, there is a lot they could potentially do with her character. I only assume they would contradict canon in some fashion because almost everything on the show already does.

Probably not, they seem to be doing their own thing. If they do mention it, it will contradict established canon just like everything else on the show.

I don't think it was ever said what happened to that character. We never even learn her name. I'm sure they have written about her in some of the books, but those aren't canon.

Nothing happened to her. It's Majel Barrett dude, Roddenberrys' wife. This episode was supposed to be the pilot. It was named "The Cage". Anyhoo, she dyed her hair blonde and became Nurse Chapel. She died in 2008. To that point, she was in everything Trek. Every show and every movie.

Yeah....
Except Spock wasn't his first officer. "Number one" was.
