So over Saturday Night Live. I watched it for so many years but now it's sickeningly one-sided politically. Maybe it always was and I was too naïve to notice back then. The hypocrisy just isn't funny anymore.
... Additionally, despite using the “New York thing” excuse to ignore Weinstein’s sins, SNL has repeatedly chosen to attack fellow New Yorker President Donald Trump — particularly when he too was under fire for sexual harassment allegations a year ago. SNL went so far as to compare Trump’s so-called “locker room talk” comments to Penn State’s child molestation cases...

"Insanity is doing something over and over and expecting different results" I guess I was insane for a while because I kept watching and expecting. Now I hate to admit but I was a teen when SNL first started and it was capital F Funny. For me it was pretty much hit and miss for the next twenty years. Of course I think a lot of the funny wore off with the decrease in drug use. I gave up seriously around the time Will Ferrell left.

Back in the day with Belushi, Aykroyd, Chase and Radner. That was a show. And then later Murray and Murphy. I was just an infant back then but have watched many of those sketches since then.
And the shows I did watch live in the 80's & 90's with Myers, Sandler, and Farley. And then it has all been downhill since that cast. Nobody on that show for the last twenty years is as funny as the people I've listed here.

That was the golden years of SNL. Honestly time for SNL to die.
