Oh yeah, I know the trial you were talking about now. I would have signed up for it except they purposely had it end right before STD premiered. I'd forgotten how they'd set that up. Now, all the people who forgot to cancel the free trial can be charged by them and they can falsely claim those people signed up just to watch STD in order to make their ratings look better.

Well you timed that wrong. The first episode of STD airs tonight on regular CBS. You could have done your free week next week and been able to watch the second episode of STD for free as well.

CBS is out of their minds thinking people should pay extra to watch their crap on streaming. All of the other networks put there stuff on Hulu. I'm currently doing a free 45 day trial of Hulu and really like it. Hulu has everything I watch on network tv offered the next day on demand... except for CBS shows. Because CBS refuses to let Hulu air their new stuff. I can watch Orville, Midnight Texas, Somewhere Between, The Good Place, etc all the next day. That is how most of the shows are that I've checked, but not Salvation or Zoo, which are the only two currently airing CBS shows I watch. CBS really thinks their crap is so special people should pay extra just for their content. Out of their minds.

To go off topic:
Until I decide to cut the cord, I won't continue with Hulu after the free trial. I'm just taking advantage of the free trial to test it out and see how it works. The only draw back to Hulu is no live tv.... well they do have a newer more expensive plan that has live tv, again without CBS. But it costs 40 some bucks a month just like Playstation Vue and Slingtv. Seriously, for the same price as cable, I'd rather just stay with cable then pay for streaming. But the regular Hulu is just $8 a month with day after viewing for most stuff. I did notice a few cable shows, like "The Last Ship", only seem to have episodes available after the end of the season on Hulu. Right now you can stream season 1-3 of that show but they have none of the current season four available. Still, that means it should be available after this season ends or at the beginning of next season.

With my new home in a new town, I actually have broadcasters within 30-40 miles of me and in the same general direction. Meaning I should be able to switch to antenna and get all my locals here. Then I can use Hulu and Netflix for the cable stuff. All told less than $20 a month, not counting buying an antenna and what not to set it up, still a lot cheaper than cable or satellite.

I did the one week trial for CBS all access. I was not impressed so cancelled it today. Not worth the money glad I cancelled before they charged me.
