More importantly that this ruling, is how it was made. The fed has no say over marriage in any way shape or form. They only have say over what the Constitution specifically says they do. Marriage is not mentioned anywhere in the Connie, so it is up to the states to determine. The supreme Court should have ruled that this was a state issue and not in their purview.
The poppycock claim that this is covered by the 14th amendment, basically means that EVERYTHING and ANYTHING other than things specifically denied the fed, can now be mandated by them, even in violation of state or federal laws. We now live in a dictatorship ruled by the majority of the Supreme Court.
