Huh, I remember about 10-15 years ago talk about birthing a Woolly Mammoth via DNA recovered from frozen carcasses and an elephant used as a host mother. Never heard anything about if it was actually done or what the results were. This sounds like more of the same, with the added questions of morality of doing this with extinct human, or nearly so, DNA. Probably not a good idea, but I would like to see Mammoths. Plus if that worked, it would presumably be easier to resurrect more recently extinct animals like the Tasmanian Tiger.
