I headed out at 6 a.m. for a photo job at a private owners secret location where a person keeps Tigers, Lions, Leopards, Panthers and a few others I cant remember. He takes these animals in from across the globe when others dont want them anymore or are just not able to be released in the wild. Today a vet which is a close family friend goes out there and treats the animals. They take a blow dart and knock them out for treatment for obvious reason the vet wont be todays breakfast. I think today im going to have the great honor to pet a Tiger. And the pleasure to take pictures of them all very close up. Very exciting!
This guy is probably one of the best in the country for big cats. He has around 25 tigers. Several Lions that are extremely aggressive and tried attacking me with all 4 paws landing full speed on a chain link fence. A black panther also very aggressive. And finally a Leopard. One of the Tigers and the Black Leopards had to be knocked out for close examination of teeth, teeth, etc. Which I got to go inside the cage and pet both and even had the owner snap a picture for me with the Tiger. My wife was very upset with me for that one. What they wanted from me is head shots of each cat in order of the treatments. Let me tell you something these cats can sense whats coming and trying to get a good head shot for identification purposes when they are pissed and wont sit still and get your lens through the cage is difficult to say the least! What a honor to be so close to these wonderful animals.
Will show more as I get them edited.
