| I'm in love with the gay adenda on "Lost Girl" Hot damn. I am watching it on the Canadian pace and just saw Season 2 Episode 6 and let me tell the gay lesbian agenda is looking FINE to me. Nah. She plays the straight one. So far....! Which on Lost Girl means we have seen her give a lesbian kiss that would make Amanda Tapping blush. | |

Nah. This one is a bisexual succubus. Kenzi is her straight sidekick. Think Buffy, only with hot women.

| And here are our two stars in casual wear. Seriously, this is casual wear on the show. | |

| Ok, in spite of trying not to, I've become snared in this new series, caught in the web of an under-fae. It's like Sanctuary, having a non-human society but where most of them walk freely among us, unknown and unsuspected.
Bo (Anna Silk) and Kenzi (Ksenia Solo) are great together, and Kenzi is just adorable (love her eyes) and makes a great sidekick for Bo. And the good vs evil theme, which I like, is present in the dark fae vs the light fae. The other characters are also interesting, especially Dyson and Trick, members of the light fae.
Guilty pleasure. :o | |

| Same here, I like it too.
However, they're going to the sex well a little too often. I'm not complaining about the mature content, the show strongly warns viewers that it's coming.
But it's getting to be a one trick pony.

| I watched a few minutes in the middle of the first episode, at least I think it was the first ep, and what I saw was bad acting and even worse CGI. CGI wasn't even as good as most of the Styfy movies. I wasn't impressed at all. | |

The show is not for everyone.

| Buffy has demons X-Men has mutants Sanctuary has abnormals Grimm has blutbots Lost Girl has Fae
So many names, so much enjoyment. :)
My favorite quote from Lost Girl:
Kenzi: "Worst-case scenario, I just ate toxic soup. Best-case scenario, I am a-a toe-sucking cannibal!"

Bummer anyway. Writers seem to love heart-wrenching scenes. :(

| I thought the episode where Bo and the Light Fae fought the Garuda was a little lame, but otherwise the episodes have been interesting. Except for the lesbian crap, which I hate. Definitely a guilty pleasure. | |

| Before it aired, the show had promise. But once they let it out that Bo needed sex as "food/energy", forget it. Just another show selling sex under some guise or another. And a lot of it, because Bo after all is a succubus, right?
And last I heard, the "succubus" is now a lesbian, monogamous one. Which of course means it cannot be a succubus at all.
Sex, sex, sex. But the best part, is the resident lesbians at Syfy. Yeah, they're a hoot and then some.
If I were a writer for the show, I'd add Lauren meeting an Incubus and enjoying the encounter, just to hear the lesbians scream foul.

| I've stopped watching this year. The stories have tanked, so now it's really nothing more than soft porn, which I can do without. | |

Have you not heard from the "experts"? This isn't soft porn, it's erotica. As a matter of fact, there is no such thing as "soft" porn. - Quote :
- Because Lost Girl doesn’t show nipples or genitals, it can air in prime time—a huge boon in terms of advertising potential. Still, Firestone wishes it were racier. “We’ve had a couple of disagreements about what we show—sex positions, how much nudity, what kind of nudity,” he remarks. “It would be more fun if we didn’t have the restrictions, but we might not reach the same audience as we do.”
Silk signs nudity riders for each scene, authorizing all body shots—the angle from which they shoot the side of her breast, or a camera panning down her back, or a stipulation of how much butt crack they can expose. During the nude scenes, she wears nipple adhesives for some pretense of modesty (“I can’t keep them on too long or I’ll get a rash,” she says), while male actors must stuff their genitals into a sock. The sex is masterfully choreographed, executed with such deft blocking that you’d swear you were seeing everything. Silk raves about the respectfulness of the crew and the sensitivity of the writers—she says the sex on the show always feels character-motivated and never exploitative. “I could probably write a book on sex scenes at this point,” she says. Entire Article That IS softcore porn. You look like a duck, quack like a duck, then you are a duck, NOT a swan.

| If you accept the drivel spewed by self-appointed "experts" as gospel without question, you're done before you start.
Even if you're dealing with acknowledged experts in some field, you're better off examining what they say with your own mind before just doing what they tell you.

Good point. People do need to think for themselves and not just hand their brains over to so-called experts to make decisions for them. Even experts can offer wrong solutions to problems, because knowledge doesn't necessarily bring wisdom.

| The show has been going down hill lately. They're bringing in way too much homo crap, male and female. I hate that. And now Bo has to pass some idiotic test or she turns into an under-fae monster? Ugh. Seems like nonsense. We may just stop watching. But I'll miss Kenzi. | |

Oh, I've always been an independent thinker. Even so, so called "experts" are always a source of entertainment for me. No matter how you package and/or present your opinion, it still isn't fact.
